Well I stopped after Miles was introduced so I know that much but

Carnage was shape shifting back and forth between itself and Gwen. It was said Carnage absorbed Gwen's DNA when she was stabbed. Carnage got loose from the Triskelion while Pete was pressuring Fury to let Gwen go. Somehow Venom/Eddie got involved and Venom absorbed Carnage into itself due to Carnage being somewhat it's clone, while leaving the Gwen part behind.

It was a very interesting story

The Miles stuff has been kind of cool. He's got his own powers and personality. He tries to live up to Pete's legacy. I've grown to love Miles.

The Symbiote is in this movie (in Oscorp next to the Ock Tentacles and Vulture Wings) so it will almost certainly play a role in ASM3 before a Venom stand alone.

In the Ultimate Universe(which i guess this series is pulling from) Peter's dad created Venom as a way to fight Cancer I think. It has been a while since i read the story. But I do remember both Venom and Carnage are the result of Pete's dad's research. And Cletus was not Carnage. Carnage didn't have a host if I remember correctly. I hope they use the actual comic suit. All black with the white spider symbol. I am rooting for this film. I didn't like ASM, but I like Spidey as a character. Hope this one is better.

The reboot seems to be taking equally from the 616 universe, Spectacular Spiderman show and the Ultimate universe, Cletus Kasady has already been confirmed for this Universe, so I’m expecting him to definitely turn into Carnage, instead of it just being a symbiote eating people. I actually prefer the symbiote not be alien, but I was never fond of Peter’s father having part in its creation. I’d prefer if someone else is responsible for the symbiote.

Hearing Harry's Goblin laugh in that second trailer makes me want to throw up. He sounds like a child giggling while mommy tickles him.

I am very excited to see Andrew Garfield's Spidey in the symbiote storyline. This is still the best incarnation of that storyline:

The animated series did it so well. Eddie Brock was damn scary as Venom, especially in the scene where Peter has to meet MJ at the movies, and Brock shows up, following them.

love the animated series but there fights were terrible in Spectacular Spiderman they brawl like they did in the comics.

This right here. I dig the hell out of Miles and its been interesting to see his character evolve so far and how he interacts with his friends and family, especially.

:goodpost::hi5: He has grown on me more than I ever thought he would. And I love that Peter's family hasn't just been jettisoned. I love that May is an encouraging voice for him, as well as Gwen. I would love to see a Miles cartoon, but I know the chances of that happening are as slim as the chances of him getting a movie. Either way I will keep reading his books.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 definitely sets the stage for the forthcoming Sinister Six movie, which we now know will be directed by Drew Goddard (Cabin in the Woods). But what’s not clear is the exact line-up of the super-villain team.

Speaking to IGN, the film's producer Matt Tolmach revealed that, “Nothing is sacred. I mean it’s going to be the best Six that you can imagine, but it’s going to make sense in the world that we’re building.”

Meanwhile his co-producer Avi Arad spoke about the need to draw on different eras of the comic's history. So while the trailer hints at the involvement of Doc Ock and Vulture, don't expect to see the 'classic' line-up.

“When you translate comic to film the word 'classic' means the first fifty issues," says Arad. "Because after that we all made changes; changes that had to do with science-fiction turning into science. I think just the need to move this world forward.

“So, of course we'll make adaptations about these guys and what was their motivations because many of them have multiple motivations. It depends, is it ultimate Spider-Man? Is it Spider-Man? Is it some three-piece issue that takes them to space? We have a bigger responsibility to represent the character of the villain as it was conceived, because that way it will survive the test of time. All the rest... that's a movie. What an opportunity to make-- can you imagine seeing Paul Giamatti in a leather suit? I think they would have killed us. They gave us a hard time with the Lizard.”

I'll have to disagree with that

I don't remember Josh Keaton over acting so laughably bad :lol

I love the animated series but that made me laugh for about 5 minutes straight. I guess when I was younger my ears couldn’t hear how bad that was.

I remember renting the venom saga dvd when I was younger and that scene came on and I laughed my *** off and kept says "ENDS OF THE EAAAARRRRTTHHH" all day.
