Yes it is. Again, the problem here is people making conclusive judgement on a movie before they have even seen it.
The 'reason' was piss weak if you ask me.

I'm merely saying that if it isn't a step up from the first movie ( which seems to me by reading opinions and reviews it isn't ) then I will wait and watch it at home. I was simply giving my opinion on these films compared to the earlier versions, which is what started this off. Who knows I might like it, I want to but a decent Spiderman movie should be fantastic, not simply good.

There is a world away from the internet. I haven't heard a single person whether it be colleagues or friends say its great. Best I've heard was ' I liked ASM this one was OK, too long and rubbish villains. A Spiderman movie getting 8's on there is the equivalent to a 6 from me. People over rate movies like crazy on this board.

Why did Raoul Moat go on his rampage in England? Why did the Washington Sniper kill those people? Sometimes people who have even stepped on and forgotten by society their whole lives need only a small trigger to go insane. Personally, I felt the reasons we got were perfectly fine.
I mean, for Christ's sake, these are comic book movies, why are people surgically dissecting them?! Half of people's 'complaints' about TASM and TASM2 can be applied to almost every other CBM. Except they aren't, because there are people who just want to hate on these movies because they didn't deem them necessary in the first place. Well, they are here, and there's nothing you can do about it I'm afraid. You can argue whether or not another series was needed all day, however the point is that, when judged on their own merit, these movies are nowhere NEAR as bad as the minority of people whine about.
Nah, I think it was the CG Lizard ruined the first one.
I loved the first costume.
But I think the hate for this movie is unprecedented. If you saw the movie and didn't like it, cool that's fair enough, but the detailed dissections by people who haven't even seen it are batshit crazy.
I'm not for a second saying this movie is a masterpiece or perfect. There are some really flawed aspects.
But the good stuff? Jesus it's the best Spiderman stuff I've seen on the big screen. This is not a Nolan superhero movie, it's not The Avengers, it's Spiderman.
It's supposed to be lighter and fun. That has led to an uneven movie, because some of this is very dark and serious.
No one seems to even mention what's fantastic about it?
I guess I will leave the haters in here to hate, I'm off to listen to Electro's Overture again on full volume.
Hahahaha
Most overused meme image on the internet.
When losing an argument - revert to meme. And then still fail at argument whilst looking a bit silly.
Anyway, moving on:
The film was great - the love story, the sense of danger surrounding Gwen, the action, the 3D swinging, the humour. It's not perfect and does suffer from Spiderman Villain syndrome - but it doesn't ruin the film in anyway. I don't understand all the hate.
I think the feedback you guys have given has me extremely excited, but I don’t see how Snake Eater lost any kind of “argument”. He simply stated he didn’t enjoy the film, gave reasons like you guys, which he has every right to do since he actually saw the film, unlike some other members here who are “hating” on the movie based on selective reviews. This film seems to have the fans split so far.
Thank you. Someone with half a brain in here!
And don't worry about J&B's post about 'losing an argument'. He still haunts my posts due to my above reasons.
