I see Bib Fortuna's neck fat and think of the picture of Lucas and Kennedy merged and that's all I can see now.

You're right they *can* recast Fett. As Daniel Craig, Karl Urban, etc. You know, someone who is a believable extension of his OT self like Aldren Ehrenreich was...

Short of doing that I would have still been fine accepting TM if they only maintained the coolness we saw in Mando Season 2.

Fett was doomed to being uncool ever since AOTC.

I thought he was OK in Mando. The final shot in Jabba's palace was the best part. He was OK in the rest but will never be OT Fett. Not the one we all imagined him to be.

This show has been fine so far IMO... You just have to separate the OT from everything else. Its the only way I can enjoy most of SW anymore.

Yes if this show was about Commander Cody or some other random clone that survived past the OT and was taken in by Tusken Raiders then it would be fine. Episode 2 was definitely enjoyable in and of itself apart from supposedly being about Boba Fett.

I saw someone say that the entire show is Favreau's commentary on his war with Kennedy and wokeness and the "rule with respect vs. fear" is his philosophy versus hers (and cancel culture in general), lol. Fett saying "please, speak freely" in the trailer is supposedly a reference to how he thinks they should have handled Carano and anybody else with different opinions. I'm not saying that I believe any of that but it's a pretty interesting take, lol.

If that was the case I would’ve made KK represent escaping the wretched Sarlaac hole and made it the length of the entire first episode.

I noticed that the Tusken Chieftain said "there are many Tusken tribes. We have always hidden, other tribes survive by killing." So at least they're calling out that this tribe is different and that not all of them are good deep down.

Possibly make the sarlacc more horrific for sure. Is it the entrance or exit though?
