Agreed. They’re going to make the excuse that it’s the cannon name of the type of ship, but you’re never going to hear Han say “Hey, let’s go get in my YT-1300 light freighter!”

And right next to it a drainage grill with skinny bars that can be cut through in a few seconds. Less taxing for the writers I suppose.

Better than ep1-3. This was probably the best episode of The Book of a Short, Stocky, Slow-Witted Bald Man.

I really don’t understand all the Morrison hate, build aside. It’s been canonically established the double Tatooine suns really do a number on human aging. Obi-Wan, Owen, Beru - even Luke all look much older than their actual ages. The Lars went from 20 something’s to 60 somethings in about 20 years. Fett cooking out in the suns would likely look older than his established age as well. I don’t see it being a huge stretch to have Morrison playing a 40 year old Boba that’s been through the wringer. Bacta can only do so much.

What about the terrible acting, the laughable stunt work, the silly faces, the Australian lingo, and walking around without a helmet 95% of the time instead of the other way around?

Agreed. The scene with

was cringe factor infinite for me, but most of the rest of the episode was pretty palatable, if not an improvement. Not saying a whole lot, but we’re going to be fighting for inches on this, not miles.

Too flashy, cyberpunk and Quadrophenia for Star Wars, let alone Tatooine.

That episode was a lot better, why is this series so inconsistent! I literally dread RR’s episode 7!

The director really loved the OT aesthetics, so many puppets used and practical effects. Not a Vespa in site very satisfying. Actually explained some stuff too about Boba’s motivations.

There was some Disney moments in it for sure but overall this was fun. Boba actually seemed to be Boba for a lot of it.
