Wow what an episode. I think all the worries for Mando S3 being poorer quality have been proven wrong. So much to love in this episode! First time all series I was smiling and genuinely chuckling for in universe zaniness rather than self deprecating humor and bad writing.

The Jawa furry references were just so perfect. Did the Klatoonians butcher Tauntauns? At least in the concept art it looked like it. The tension and story for Din is really ramping up. The fight over the Darksaber, the fact he is no longer a “Mandalorian” according to the Armorer’s extreme code. Even had a sequel reference with fast as a Fathier lol.

Loved the reference to Concordia. Very interesting we have come full circle. The EU made Mandalorians a scattered people small in number and then Lucas/Filoni made them a large civilization again in Clone Wars and now the Mandalorian gives us the Great Purge and the glassing of Mandalore (again). The whole point of the dome city was to ensure they could survive since the whole planet was essentially uninhabitable. The tie bombers and K2 units running around like terminators was just amazingly grim dark.

After this episode we can all say “Boba Fett, Boba Fett where” and not even care. Even a blind person could see it.

Hold on. Now I haven't seen this one yet, but looking at these posts, am I right in assuming Boba once again, doesn't fire his blaster or use of his cool weapons or gadgets, or do anything badass?
If so, that's 5 out of 7, so far.
Action isn't everything but this is Boba Fett. And he hasn't used his blaster yet.
I'm starting to think we'll get through the whole season and Boba will still not have done anything of note. At no point has he been badass, decisive, cunning, intelligent or competent.
Bloody hell they've done him dirty.
Oh well. At least I get to watch a cool Mando episode tonight. Boba who?

Spoiler alert. You don't have to worry about Fett using his blaster because he literally does not even appear. Yes, we are still watching The Book of Boba Fett.

The Mandalorian S2Ep9 was really good, I was glued to my screen -- unlike when I watch the Book of Bob.

Did they update Mando's gauntlets? Maybe it was just the bright LED, which you usually don't see on them, but they looked a bit different.
