*sighs* My thoughts are many, and not yet fully in order. Admittedly that can be a problem at the best of times.

Overall, it was not as bad as it COULD have been. It could have been worse!

*Fett finally, at last and about time too, fires a weapon, uses his jetpack, knee rockets etc. Almost I had forgotten he had them.

*Mando AND Fett jetpackin' around aka the high ground. I was honestly surprised to see this, I would have thought such was not allowed.

*Ok, those droids were terrifying and I dont care if Skynet teleported them in, those things were nightmare fuel.

*I DONT HAVE ENOUGH HANDS for all the handwaving needed re Grogu's return. I love Grogu but that was just.... "Ok Artoo, just fly him around the planet till you find Mando." Was that the plan?!! WTF REALLY, LUKE

*Boba and Mando in the Sanctuary, discussing how they will fall with honor, because This IS The Way. THIS IS WHY THERE ARE LIKE 3 MANDOS LEFT IN THE UNIVERSE, YOU NINNYHAMMERS. No, DYING NEEDLESSLY IS NOT THE WAY. Freckin' idiots! I wanted to ring both their helmets with my fist.

*Mod girl, stfu. Mom and Dad are talking.

* NO HAN SOLO HAHAHAHAHA

*NO QIRA HAHAHAHAHA, TOLD YOU

*NO CRIMSON DAWN THANK YOU GOD

*I literally laughed out loud when Fett killed Bane. He had that coming for disrespecting Jango. Just for that alone. Its been decades and Fett finally got to kill him. The gaffi stick was poetic justice. Yes, downvote away, I said it! Bane died and this was highly enjoyable. [But is he really dead, you know how it is....]

*No Ahsoka. Im surprised. I'm surprised it wasnt her showing up on the rancor. You just know Filoni was pouting in a corner over it, too.

*The rancor thing was cringe, but not as bad as I feared.

*WTF is that guy gonna do to Vanth...?! Smart money says he's coming out of this with a cybernetic arm, like all the cool kids have. BUT WHY

*Fennec: kicking *** and taking names like always.

*That'll learn ya to trust Trandoshans. Never trust that bunch.

*Season 2 incoming.

I'm glad Bane died, too cause unlike everyone else I had no idea who he was. I don't watch Filoni cartoons. He just looked like a Duros from the cantina with bad teeth and a cowboy hat on. Glad he's dead.

Also, did it bother anyone when Mando was knocked over and the Darksaber went flying, and it never showed him pick it up?

Stuff like that just drives me nuts in TV shows, especially sitcoms where people come into a house and they just leave the front door open.

Some random Jawa would have grabbed that thing in 10 seconds and then he'd be the next King of the Mandalores.

When these guys make up stupid MacGuffin objects of incredible power, I wish they'd be a little more careful about continuity.

(I'm not crazy about the Darksaber. Like I said, Filoni's fan fiction means nothing to me. I just thought it was some kind of laser-cutting tool when Gideon first used it in season one of Mando.)

(PS.....I hate Ahsoka.)

Say what you want about the head-scratching moments in this episode ( and there were a TON), but I really loved watching the rancor wreaking havoc on basically everything. Sure, it was a direct rip-off of Kong or some other kaiju, but I don't care. It made me smile. Find your joy where you can.
Yeah, I could at least have a little fun with this episode, I suppose. The rancor trashing the city they're trying to save was amusing but pretty cool to watch. Boba and Din fighting side by side AND with jetpacks was fun. Boba using his arsenal of weapons was long overdue.

Yeah, as bad as this was, it could have been worse. Why in the hell would Han Solo ever have a reason to be on Tattooine anyway? So glad those "rumors" were just ******** like most rumors.

What gets me is when people fire 8000 rounds out of a 15-round clip when using real-world weapons.

Or it finally runs out, character looks down and goes DAMN IT!! and throws away a $1500 weapon like its a used Cheeto bag, because it ran out of ammo. That's why you have another clip in your pocket, dude. lol

Why didn't we get a flashback to Cad giving Fett the dent in the helmet? I know it didn't actually air in the CW but it feels like it would've been a great flashback during their duel. They did multiple Kamino flashbacks to young Fett with absolutely no payoff. This show's writing, acting, directing and production are an all-time head scratcher. This is what you put into an iconic Star Wars character's solo show? My head canon ends with him on the throne after offing Fortuna in the Mando S2 post-credit scene...
It's completly pointless and irrelevant to even include that conversation in the first place without showing that flashback CW era duel scene. Ruindriguez is dumb.

What made me laugh was Boba prefaced his getting the Rancor by stating "Those two battle droids are going to destroy the entire town", so of course the Rancor ends up doing 10x the damage by comparison. :lol

Yeah, some of the unnecessary explaining they do for the audience benefit and they can't put together a quick flashback for those who might not have watched CW or known about the unaired scene... The whole lot of people responsible for this show are dumb (are acted dumb for some reason during the creative process...).

Goodbye, sweet Gamorrean bros. :(

I actually felt bad for them for a lot of reasons. First of all, they looked ridiculous and it's hard not to feel embarrassed on their behalf just for how they're dressed.

Second of all...they didn't even get NAMES. Boba's first loyal "crew" members and they don't even have the dignity of proper names, and all the ******** scooter kids have names, not that I give a flying **** what they are. But I'm pretty sure they have them.

The action in this episode was so bad that even Din Djarin looked silly on several occasions. We already knew RR was going to further ruin Boba's legacy, but tarnishing Mando's reputation I simply will not abide! :thwak

Yeah, there were some particularly unflattering shots of him rolling around where I kind of winced and thought "ugh, at that angle, even Mando's outfit looks dumb."

Must have been a sweet gig for Pedro though....I'm sure he just recorded all his lines on his phone and emailed them to Disney. I wonder if any helmeted performances of Mando are even gonna require him again. Why would they?

Another thing that annoyed me was Din and Grogu’s reunion carried no emotional weight, and makes the Mando Season 2 finale seem hollow knowing they’re only going to be apart for two episodes. They should have spent Mando season 3 on separate stories, then be reunited after a seasons worth of build up.

Yeah, that scene was so hard to watch...seeing the emotion on Pedro's face. Knowing that Grogu is gonna outlive him by like 850 years and this was possibly the last time they'd see each other.

If it was a proper story, and not a product, Mandalorian should have ended right there. It's heartbreaking, but it was a true ending.

Instead....all that emotion and drama is erased like it never happened, cause the show must go on.
