I have been seeing commercials for this. Indeed it looks interesting. The PG-13 rating makes me iffy though. And what's up with that dude's face? He's missing a piece of it.

I think it was one of the first episodes of the new Twilight Zone that ran in the mid-80's. That used remakes of a lot of old Twilight Zone episodes, so this could have been part of the original series.

That Twilight Zone episode was the first thing that popped into my head when I saw the ads for this movie. It's the exact same premise. Shows you how hard up they are for new movie ideas when they're plucking stories from 80's TZ.

They decide to press the button, and then the guy shows up to give them the money and take the box back. They ask where he's taking it and he says it will go to the next owner. "Someone you don't know."

The implication is that they will be the victims of the next person to press the button.

Button episode is one I haven't seen, though, and definitely sounds like one of the lamer ones.
