I actually agree with this. But the paint apps I've seen on several of the regular versions have been abyssmal.
I'd rather not take my chances. Although some day, when there's a huge gap between Star Wars PF announcements, I may go back and pick one up. Assuming I can see photos of it first. As for the appeal of the SDCC exclusive, I'm really into the whole missing scene -- the one where Luke is using the binoculars to view the battle between the Star Destroyer and the Tantive IV. I remember reading it in the novelization back in the 70s and thinking how cool it would have been to see that in the film.
I can always remove the hat, goggles, and poncho to give me something of a classic look. The binocs in his hand don't make enough of a difference to bother me.

Good points, my friend. I too thought those missing scenes were cool. They added depth to the story, knowing that they existed but weren't "officially" included. Your pics are fantastic, as aways, and the exclusive Luke does look amazing. But it's the regular version that I prefer and can almost hear John William's score from that scene in the film.

Congrats! I think it'd be awesome to have them all, but I don't have the room and I'm thinking about weeding some out. You'll have to post a pic of your display when you get them all set up perfectly.

Leia and old Ben are by far the best in this line. I love them both and if I had to keep only two, they would be the ones staying.

Wow. The Dagobah Luke looks a lot better than I thought he would. I guess that's the first time I've seen anyone's in hand pictures.

You might consider changing the out-of-the-box pose of Yoda in the backpack. He has a wire armature inside and can be positioned so that his giraffe neck isn't sticking out so far and clutches to the back of Luke more realistically. When I changed the pose in mine it went from an A- piece to an A+.
Congrats on having the full set. This is also my favorite line from any company. I too have one of each character - hopefully I can add the speederbike.

I already did, but not until after I'd taken the pics.
