The countdown to our Holiday Surprise begins

As a special Holiday Surprise to all our collectors, we will be announcing a new license (or maybe even TWO!) on Christmas Day, 2007! What could it possibly be? Well, if you watch the gift as it unwraps from now through December 25th, you may be able to catch a couple of clues. Thoughts? I've been hearing Grumblings about Heroes but then we hear about those rumors a lot lately.

That's kinda the way I feel. It seems like Sideshow new stuff is pretty few and far between as well. But maybe it just feels that way since there hasn't been as much stuff that I want.

Hot Toys is rocking Pirates of the Caribbean. Tonner's giving me nice Harry Potter figures......

There are only two actual lines (and not just a few characters from a few different things) that would make me happy: 01) Dark Shadows, and 02) Heroes. There's no chance of it being the first one, unfortunately, and maybe a very, very small chance of it being the second (it seems more likely to come from Hot Toys, actually)..... I'd like to see a new Star Trek line if this new movie does well, but that's an announcement for next year instead of this one.....

So I'm curious, but not excited.

While it probably won't happen I'd love to get a Harry Potter 1/6 license going. I think that this particular license has been ignored too long from a high scale 1/6 and with SSC working with HT for the smaller bodies you could get Harry and company from all of the years at Hogwarts....
