The Dark Knight 12" figure (Mattel)

Had just gotten off of work and picked this up.

Figure looks pretty good, but had been hoping that it had more articulation then what it does have. Besides this figure and the masked one, are there gonna have any other ones coming out?

I thought about getting the masked one as well but at $29.99 I figured I would try my luck with one to see how it was.

doesn't look bad at all - proportions look good too. will probably end up looking better than the DCD one.

Well it has the neck movement, shoulders (up/down), elbows, legs (back/forth), and knee's. Guess it isnt that bad, but I just got used to Medicom/SS/Hot Toys type of bodies.

Awesome, thanks for the heads up. I had seen a listing about something like this on their site, but it wasn't too clear on what it was exactly. Where are you at, if you don't mind me asking?

That's a pretty detailed outfit. Aside from the head, it looks pretty much like how a Hot Toys figure might look, at least in that stance.

I have to admit, pretty damn good for a Mattel product, I like it.

Sadly, that likeness is much better than NECA's Patrick Bateman. Bateman (take the e out and you get Batman! Weird coincidence!) may have had the nose mole, but the rest was off. The 6" version even looks better than the 7" Bateman.

Decent Headsculpt, better Bale likeness than some of the customs I've seen... A solid repaint from Les or Josh would do it a world of good!

Yeah, that Bale head would have been a great thing to have a few months ago... but with Andy's sculpt and future HT releases not as needed. But still pretty good overall for a mass-market release.

decided to do a quick photoshop of another bale head that I had from before.

If I didnt spend a decent amount of money on this head I would chop the neck off and place it onto the body.

No I was just curious how that head would look on the batman body. That head is for my Celric bale.

Nothing, well other then the base nothing. There is another version (masked) that has an action feature that throws a batarang and cape open action.
