it's funny because some of the plot holes I did not even notice,

like this someone pointed out:
"
most notably how Bruce got back into Gotham after he escaped the Lazarus pit considering he had no money and no contact with anybody, found Catwoman so easily, and managed to put up an elaborate gasoline batsymbol on the bridge again without anybody noticing"

that didn't even cross my mind, I See it now, but at the time, I just totally bought it, I didn't think much about it since I Was waiting for the end, wanted to see how Batman defeated Bane

Those are hardly plotholes.

Do people have to be shown every single damn frame to connect the dots :slap :lol

And it wasn't a Lazarus pit :lol

:lol yeah but the thing about finding catwoman and the bat in the bridge did made me wonder after I Read that

Bane reminded me of the villain from the Road Warrior. That mask and that voice. I didn't like how after all that he did he becomes nothing but a stooge at the end. Shot down like some second rate character. Makes him almost meaningless.

There's some great Joker impersonations too. That doesn't mean anything.

I think all of those suck so I dunno.

Hardy came up with the performance under Nolan's direction.

That might have been the problem.

The body language was what sold it for me, the eyes

I'll give you this . . . for one scene. It's where he's on top of the Tumbler, specifically "and we give it to you, the people. Gotham is yours - none shall interfere. Do as you please . . . this great city will endure", where you can see his eyes and gestures are phoney and insincere. He's full of it with his expressions but his words are convincing. I think that part is great, especially when you consider what Hardy has to work with there (which is very little).

The rest, ehhhhh, hilarious voice (that frustrates general audiences), bad, over the top acting that anyone could have done. Fans say they see an intimidating and freighting performance, I see meme potential and straight up lolz. I gave Bane a chance despite all the flags that went up from the leaked Heinz field recordings last year, the prologue and promotional footage prior to the film but the first 6 minutes on cemented what a joke he was in the actual film.

Yes, there are moments that are good (what I mentioned above towards the end of his speech, "Then . . . I will break you") but the rest? Meh, forgettable.

RIP Bane 2011-2012 - You are forgotten

The first 6 mins will always be replaced with the original version in my mind. :lol :lecture

Apart from the terrible redub in the first 6 mins, I don't have a single complaint about Bane.

how was bane funny?
he was badass but not funny.

I think the scene where he is holding Harvey Dents photo was one of the scenes I found him to be funny/goofy. The way he animated his eyes on top of that tumbler made me laugh.

this is one of the times, his presence was very intimidating, but when he started speaking his tone would get a little too high, kinda reminded me of V for Vendetta actually, he did that a little bit as well, I guess since they only have the eyes and the tone to show emotion,

this plot hole from the first one... is disgusting... lol

5. Batman Begins – Ra’s al Ghul (AKA Ducard) and the Scarecrow use the microwave emitter they stole from Wayne Enterprises to vaporize all the water in Gotham City, thus making people inhale the toxin contained therein. A creative idea, to be sure, except that human beings are 60-75% water (depending on age and other factors). So everybody in Gotham should be boiled to death in their own tissues.

even the of course line was badass!
not funny.

Admirable. But mistaken.

When I look into his muzzle, I can see a man deranged
But Nolan, when I see him, I have to ask, hey, what’s his name, oh yeah
I know he’s not the Joker, Mr. Freeze, or Hugo Strange
And it’s hard to fear for Batman, when I don’t remember Bane.

We’ve been through this such a long long time
Just tryin’ to kill the pain (of Batman and Robin)
But Riddler or the Penguin, Poison Ivy, Catman
Harley Quinn or Two-Face could have been okay, o-kay
If you had the time to render CGI, Health Ledger hologram
Would have blown my mind…Make me rewind…
So if you make a sequel, then Nolan don’t refrain
(But) For now I’m disappointed, ’cause I don’t care much for Bane

Could you pick someone better-known?
Maybe Catwoman, on her own
I wish that you had picked someone, better known
Oooooh, even King Tut from the Adam West showww

I know it’s hard to keep an open mind
When even fanboys want to harm you
But even if I had an open mind
I still can’t understand his di-a-loooooogue

And when my fears subside I watch the trailer again, oh yeah
I still can’t understand him and my speakers aren’t to blame
So never mind my nitpicks, in the end I’ll still complain
Disappointment is forever, I can’t understand the Bane.

Don’t you think that he needs subtitles?
Don’t you think he should be redubbed?
Nobody understands him!
I’m not the only one!
I’m not the only one!

you know how there was a thread saying "Did you Cry at the end of TDKR?

I Did cry, of how disappointed and pissed off I was LOL

I loved Bane and his voice

Maybe DiFabio you should go watch Batman 1989 or your own Batman movie Gotham by gaslight

Totally agree. He sounded horrible in the first 6 minutes final cut. The "painful for you" line was ruined.

Bane was a great character. I liked him better than the Joker. His voice and intonation were amazing. Loved the way he delivered, "The shadows betray you because they belong to me."

Admirable. But mistaken.

subtitles? NO!

redubbed again? NO!

i could understand every word of his original voice
but the redub made it so much more badass.
