The end of the Buffy statue line?

The Whedonverse wants to know. It's been 8 months+ since Angel was first announced, and with a hiatus like that one has to wonder....Is this the end for the Buffy statue line? I know quite a few fans, myself included, have submitted this same question numerous times to your 'Q&A' Department and still no reply.

With today marking the beginning of your Comic-Con event, I'm hoping we see a glimpse of something to come.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I'm hoping for something a little more official though. I wish Sideshow would just post, 'This line is done. The End' or 'Hey, have we got a surprise for you!' I'm not a big fan of the 'Will we or won't we' approach, especially considering how many of us have submitted this inquiry to the 'Ask Sideshow' department.

If you've submitted questions to Ask Sideshow already that will be your best bet at getting an answer about the Buffy line. I personally haven't heard any talk of the line actually being ended at this point. But further information can/will be had through the Ask Sideshow questions submitted once they are answered and posted (due to Comic-Con there is a slight delay in answering questions, but once SDCC is over we should be up and running with more Ask Sideshow).

That goes for all the lines and despite submissions to Ask Sideshow usually the only way to find out is bullying through IRC.

I'll support the AH! line 'rebirth', if you actively campaign for the Buffy line continuation.

I know I have sent in asking Sideshow this same question and of course have never heard back. I truly hope that its not ended as people have been speculating.

Alex, any chance that you've heard about something in the works? Or any word about this line at all?

Drop them a line on Twitter about the polystone line! Hopefully the more fans ask, the more likely we'll get an answer. We had one boardie ask last week and another ask yesterday. No answers yet.

The license is still listed on their homepage, so I don't think it's a matter of NOT being able to create anything new.

I'm dedicating my 15,000 post to this thread, in an effort to get this question answered and hopefully lay all of the speculation to rest! (...As if such a post were 'more special' than the other 14,999.)
