Here's my version of
Marlon Brando as Don Vito Corleone
I tried to catch the mood from the opening scene
Hope you like the pictures

Amazing!
The atmosphere is just fantastic.
How long it takes you to complete this piece of art?

Thank you very much.

Actualy not that long. I used my "Old Fashined Room Diorama " for it.
The work journal is here: https://mickbaltes.de/blog/?cat=4
So all I had to do, was to rearrange some of the furniture and props. As an addition I had to built an (quick and dirty) writing table. That was an hour work. And I had to make the blinds. I used black wrap for that. It took me three hours.
Shooting the scene was about two hours. I wanted to match that golden light of Gorden Willis camera work. So I used some orange filters and in some images a little bit fog as well, to make the air more "heavy".

Dunedin, how did you make all those 1/6 scale books???

I created the covers in photoshop using pictures of real books. printed them and bent them. So, thats it. From the right angle they look like real books.

That's great stuff.

Question: Anyway to remove the sheen from Godfather's headsculpt?

Don't know. Maybe with some dull finish.
