Here are a couple quick phone pics. I'll mess around with him a bit and see what pose works best with the group. The knives may be a better display option than the gun since I think the ridiculous size of the gun makes him look even smaller. I am really happy to finally have the team though.

Man, that body really is way too slight. No excuse either seeing as it's a new tooling to accommodate the tattoos/scarification.

New addiction setting in. First time in forever I've been excited about a line of figures.

Speaking of deteriorating health, it looks like my days of painting headsclupts are finally coming to an end. For some reason I can't see as well, and trying to focus using magnifiers just gives me headaches. Could be all the smoking or just stress, either way I hope I'll get to the bottom of it or I'll need a new hobby!

This was my very last paint job last year, at least I'm sort of proud of it if does ends up as my last. :lol

Well done! Just get some old person bifocals and get back to painting. :lol

Those look really cool. I'm trying not to start any new lines though. I've got enough **** sitting in boxes as it is. :lol

That sucks to hear, Ryan. I count myself lucky that my vision hasn't failed me yet considered everyone in my side of the family was wearing glasses at my age.

Sweet! Speaking of, I still want at least one Iron Man figure, like the MKVII.

I've never worn glasses but that almost seems inevitable now. :lol

Yeah, I just hope it's something stress related. I haven't worked out in months due to work so that might be it. It's crazy how lack of exercise can deteriorate your well being.

I've worn glasses since the 8th grade. My eyesight isn't horrible though. I'm near-sighted and rarely use my glasses when I'm at a computer or reading. Though I gotta have them for watching TV, driving, etc.

That absolutely sucks to hear :monkey2 Hope you find some way around it, even if you have to resort to using optivisors.

Is that Sentinel?

Yes indeed. The Re:edit/Chemical Attack line.

It could very well be stress. It's amazing how it can physically affect you.

I've made it known I'm no IM fan, but those are really classy.

Depending on if you prefer a figure you can mess around with and that has great engineering and stability, I'd fully recommend one of these Sentinel figures over supporting Hot Toys' Iron Spam. The HT figures are nice but as time's gone on I've gotten very bored with how they're basically good for collecting dust in a cabinet and absolutely nothing else.

I think it helps that these are comic designs filtered through a Japanese designer's mind. Definitely refreshing given how ****ing bored I am with the movie version of the character.

That reminds me of a friend in 8th grade who never took off his glasses, and after 4 years we saw him without it and had that Superman effect. Took us a few seconds to recognize him! :lol

Thanks! I do use optivisors for painting, and anyone who doesn't can't really get the minute details unless he's lying.. or crazy talented. :lol

Indeed. How often are you working out with that bad knee and all?

I'd love to, and Sentinel figures look amazing but I only stick to 1/6 figures due to consistency, that means forgoing a lot of stuff I would love to have. I do love to own JUST ONE Iron Man some day. :lol

I honestly fell out of love with HT long ago. A lot of their figures almost intentionally misses the mark on at least one thing-perhaps under the false prospects of doing a 2.0 someday. If Drax had that HT body in the WWE, he'd be fired by Vince McMahon. :lol

I agree. HT makes odd decisions for figures sometimes and the amount of accessories they include has dropped. Sideshow does the same thing and is probably the worst offender since they feel like they have to put their own creative spin on every single figure. Look at their Beetlejuice. I loved everything about it but the expression on his face. Just a weird choice considering there were many other options that were more recognizable from the film. Their Marvel comic book figures are all a little off. You can tell who the figure is supposed to be, but each one has something weird that makes you try to remember if they ever looked like that in the comics when deep down you know they didn't. :lol

Eh it's been alright. I went to therapy for it and I'm doing stuff at home, and it hasn't been aggrivated from it. I even upped my squats weight and it's doing alright. No where near what I used to, but at least the number went up.

I've been biking on my stationary bike three times a week, about 10 miles each time too.

I would say the era where the DX09 Keaton, DX08 Joker, Tech Noir T800 and Reeve Supes came out is a completely different period than it is today. Sure, they're not perfect and nothing is, but those figures are some of the handful of HT that got realllly close. I wish HT and SS would have that kind of love and care..

Ah, well at least your doing something, and that stationary bike sounds cool. :lol

I'm going on vacation in August and me and my wife are trying to trim down as much as possible. I've only lost about 5lbs (it's hard since I need to take in a lot of calories to get bigger) while she lost 20lbs in a month. She does 30 miles on the bike every day that she uses it.

I don't know how she does it. Typically, she burns about 1,400 calories a day. That's half of what I eat in a whole day, and I think that's around what she eats in a day in total.

She's got bad knees herself since she was born without much cartilage in them and somehow does this everyday.

Stationary bike is easy. Stick it in front of a TV and watch something on Demand. I've been watching Rocky since yesterday :lol

I could stick it in the garage and sweat my *** off out there while I do it. It's in the ****ing 90's now. I'd probably drop weight like crazy.
