Going to Vegas in two days so of course I wake up yesterday with a sore throat and a cough. I haven't really been sick this year--anything I got was only for a day or two--but my wife has had ebola for six weeks. I'd better not have gotten that ****.

I just ordered them from BBTS. I don't want to risk not being able to pick up the pack at SDCC.

I can’t believe there haven’t been more exclusive announcements. Usually they’re in full swing by May. I’m having a harder time getting excited for it this year. I wish I had gotten more than two days.

Marvel isn't doing Hall H this year so that means more people will be in lines to buy stuff too.

I'm always only interested in the yearly Dragon Ball Figuarts exclusive, which was already revealed. Just a repaint... they're so lazy.

Would be nice to see some classic films get 1/6 figures by HT... but c'mon now. It's going to be Sturr Wurrz and Mehvel.

Maybe will see the Power Loader Ripley with a new pubic wig.

I still haven't bought my airplane tickets yet. I'm actually dreading going this year for some reason. I have fun when I get there because the adrenaline kicks in and the excitement of seeing new stuff overrides most of the negatives, but all I can think about right now are the lines, the *******s blocking displays to do their stupid YouTube reviews, the smell of unwashed nerds, ****ing kids running around because they get in free, etc.

I was really hoping Terence Stamp would show up at the London convention again this summer, because I'd gladly skip SDCC for the chance to meet him.

I always feel bad about having other freaks grab stuff for me too at sdcc. I know it has to be excruciating at times to wait in those lines.

I pretty much only go to take pictures and pick up whatever goodies I can so I don't mind grabbing stuff for people if it's possible. One of the problems for some exclusives is that if you don't get to the line immediately after the doors open then you're screwed. They cut off the line and tell you to come back the next day. Other times you'll get in line then find out they've sold out whatever they allotted for that day so all that time was wasted. I've been pretty lucky picking stuff up, but I've always had at least three days. With only two this year, the odds of picking everything up drops considerably.

Yeah, which sucks because I basically have to pay for a hotel from Wednesday to Monday to go to two days of the convention.

i'm bummed... no vegas for me! f'n work in the way again!! i have to travel for work to do some laser scanning at a customer's site when i was planning on going... plus i've had the ebola for a 5 days now too... so really living the dream here!!!
