Sideshow used to have the license, but they stopped doing anything with it a long time ago. The license probably cost Big Chief Studios an arm and a leg, but it looks like they're doing it right so far. I'm as excited for new Bond figures as I was for Blitzway's Ghostbuster figures.

I watched the new Ghostbusters movie last night. I think I half-chuckled to myself at 2-3 parts, and only because Thor had a couple funny lines and was able to pull them off. Everything else was ****. Ghosts were ****, characters were ****, story was ****, cameos were ****, humor was ****. It was a poor attempt to cash in on a franchise that should have been just been left alone.

I felt embarrassed for everyone involved in the film. Regardless of all the "girl power" stuff they tried to cram into the film and during their publicity tour, it was just a bad, bad film in general. I think I'm going to watch the original again tonight to cleanse my brain.

I just bought a Valentine's Day card for my wife... the whole concept of cards is so nonsensical to me.

"Here, someone else wrote this for me. I love you. Bend over."

Sometimes if we go somewhere that has cards we'll each pick one out, let the other read it, then put them back without buying them. We just imagine each one said "love you" and was signed. Money saved since they'll end up in the trash at some point anyway.

the price is what's even more ridiculous! cards used to be like $2.99... now they are $7-8! i saw one the other day... it had some plastic thing on the front that you could take off after you read the card to keep... $9.99 for a stupid card!! unbelievable!
