Ducking Sideshow's booth was a madhouse. I waited to pick up the Dark Knight bust and the stupid girls helped three people before me even though they asked what I needed first. I was about to lose it. People were just jumping in line and asking them for help, and instead of telling them they were already helping someone they'd stop what they were doing to help them instead.

Looks pretty good. He'll be $230 and come with hands...

I'm getting so aggravated with this place. I don't know how they can do this for so long and get less organized each year. I'm going to have to spread out when I take pictures because *******s won't move out of the way trying to film their ******** YouTube channel **** that no one gives a **** about. Aisles are packed with dumb ****s that think standing in the middle in a group is a good idea. I think I'm too crotchety to deal with all this anymore. :lol If I can't get preview night next year I may not bother coming back.

Time to start kneeling :bow

Thanks, Zod. Did they have anything interesting on display at their booth(s)?

Not very much on display at all. They mainly had stuff out they were selling. Some little robot looking things. I couldn't even get close to the booth that had the 1/6 scale figure so maybe they had more.

None of the main sites were showing much of anything 1000toys-related, so I had a look through the Instagram hashtags. Lot of stuff I couldn't care less about (joint projects with Toy Pizza, Real X Head, etc), but then it turns out they've entered into a collaboration with one of my all-time favourite artists, Kim Jung-Gi.

Image swiped from SupremeCollector76's Instagram. The same SupremeCollector76 who's currently scalping the 1/6 and 1/12 transparent synthetic humans and the GI Joe Duke synthetic human on Ebay for a mere three to four times what he paid for them

Those are cool! I'll have to see if I can get around that booth again and check them out. Too bad he's being a ****ing ********* with scalping. It's not even fun anymore trying to get stuff I like at the convention because I'm competing with thousands of people that just want to buy stuff to gouge buyers.

The companies themselves don't help by enabling this sort of thing. They didn't set a one-per-customer limit at their booths despite only having 25(!) of each of the 1/6 figures for sale. Apparently the 1/6 transparent synth is limited to 300 worldwide, 500 for the 1/12. The rest are presumably going to be sold at ACG Hong Kong, Wonder Festival Japan, etc.
