This is the first prototype by using the finer immitation leather.

The fitting is unacceptable for me, the sleeve is needed to be more narrow and the the collor shape is worse.

While the double stitches on the jacket is fine on this fabric. I am still looking for finest genuine leather while it seems very hard to find.

Whilst the stitching and overall work looks good, it would appear the fabric is causing the most problems.

Just doesn't seem to work at this scale.

What's funny is, as crappy as that currently looks it's still better than most 1/6 scale clothing. :lol

Just shows how HIGH Kato.E's quality is. I'm sure when you sort out the fabric the finished jacket will look jaw dropping like your other work.

i like it but it needs work its still it a w.i.p cant wait to see more process pics

This is PU coating fabric that we cannot iron it or you need to buy a new iron.:D

ah I see :lol

I think that material isnt ideal, and its not the right color and pattern to begin anyways

but if you wanna try ironing it, maybe layering it with another handkerchief above it, so that the iron isnt in direct contact with the fabric :huh

btw, if I may suggest kato, please do this version of his jacket, if you can (I might be interested to buy em off you :D):

judging from different pics he has the right color for the tyler's jacket in the film but it in certain scenes it looks darker

Ah the age old what color is the jacket question. :lol

Next up is the stitching color conundrum.

It's funny seeing the same ground tread in the 1:6 forums as the 1:1.

The shape looks good, but I agree that the choice of fabric isn't the best. I know that it is just a mock up. I think that once you have some fine leather you'll nail it.

Off topic , I see some Indiana Jones parts in the background, are you planning to reproduce the Wested jacket he wore at all ? :D

This is exactly in my list:rolleyes:

Cool ! If your first prototype doesn't turn out to your liking I'll gladly take it off your hands ! ( But I'm sure that it will be awesome ! ) I'd love one if you are planning to have any for sale.
