well in the new ultimate spiderman. peter parker is dead. and now there is a kid named miles morales. he is half hispanic and half black and gay..
it could work who knows..i give time and peter will return..the new spiderman for a new generation.

Well Marvel covered all the bases.. hey if it makes a great story line all the power to it! When Miles is killed, by a Transgender Carnage after killing the Pre-op Venom, he will be replaced by a 1/2 Greek and 1/2 Korean Ex ballerina addicted to crack! Now that should get a few Spidey Senses tingling!

i suppose Marvel felt they needed something to compete 'media wise" with DC's relaunch (apparently, a quality plot line wasn't a consideration).the Ultimate Spider-Man had been suffering creatively for a long time and perhaps this will be the final nail in the casket.

this is how Marvel shows respect to its fans... with stunts. the old men behind the controls have become obsolete...
