Anyone get/getting/read?

I'm about half-way through it. Not bad, but definitely 'feels' like a BioWare game, if that makes sense. (I guess if you liked Knights of the Old Republic, you'll probably like this).

I'm on the fence about reading it. The fact that we've got a republic vs. an empire turns me off a bit. C'mon, let's get a little more creative with the political groups.

Is this set post Bane?

So, if it doesn't give away anything about the plot...why are there only two sith?

Bane created the Rule of Two because he felt that to many weaker Sith were overthowing the more powerfull or something to that effect. Someone with more knowalge and who has read the book can explain it better. Before Bane though the Sith numbered in the thousands.

Yeah, that's why it confuses me that there are only two Sith (according to Amazon's description) in the book. :dunno I'm just can't decide if I want to read this because so much of it seems a rehash of stuff that has already been done.

Sorry, don't mean to rain on the thread.

I'll pick this up after I finish the monster of a book that is The Passage.

I've got it but have yet to start it - the game trailer looks great but the armour looks too advanced it's meant to be thousands of years in Gffa history

I really need to get this. Am i right in thinking that this is going to be a hardback series?

There are more then 2 Sith. There are only two that figure prominently.

I'm about 200 pages into it and love it. A very, very good read so far.

That's good to know, thanks for the info.

For the person who asked if this is going to be a series, I think it may be. There is a book titled The Old Republic: Deceived on amazon as well as this one.

There will likely be 3 books, total. Plus the separate Old Republic comic series, which just started last week.

I picked this up, but haven't started it yet. Should be a good read. It's Old Republic and BioWare, so that automatically guarantees it'll be better than 95% of all other EU novels.

My fiance just pick the book up for me yesterday. It should be here by the end of the week and looking forward to it..
