I saw a preview last night of "The Prestige," which opens in a week.

I want to recommend that you focus all your curiosity about this film on finding a theatre where it's playing and getting your butt into a seat inside said theatre. Before anybody tells you anything about it.

DO NOT read any damn reviews. This is a delicious experience, so why let anyone else nibble away at it?

I can't remember the last time a film was so much fun or so involving. Go watch it. Watch closely.

"Are you watching closely?"

Definitely interested in this one... and I will stay away from spoilers. I hate reviews that give half the plot and could never understand the point of knowing every twist and turn before going to see a new movie?

can't wait to see this film. pretty much love anything that nolan has made. so a great cast with him and i'm in a seat.....

Just saw it and I'm still deciding if I loved it or just liked it. As someone who's read a lot of screenplays, it's like one of those brilliant screenplays that float around the town for years but no one ever has the guts to actually make a movie out of them. It's very literate and complex and I can't really decide whether Jackman and Bale were right for the roles. I guess I'll have to see it again to truly get a handle on my feelings about it.

PLEASE KEEP ANY HINTS OF SPOILERS OUT OF THIS THREAD

I saw it last night, it was a good film, much more engaging than I expected.

Though I did have the ending figured out about 3/4 through. :monkey1

Saw it....5 bunny rating. :bunnydanc :bunnydanc :bunnydanc :bunnydanc :bunnydanc I was a bit hesitant about the casting as well, but actually enjoyed it. (Am wondering what it might have been had Jackman and Bale switched places.)

Go in spoiler free. Don't let your friends tell you about it. Run from them.
