This probably wouldn't have caught my attention a week ago but after 21 Jump Street I have a new found respect for Tatum.

This has been out for a while I think. I know I saw it good 6 months ago and was really impressed by Tatum's performance. Solid movie.

If you were to look solely at the actors headlining this film, this movie might automatically fall into the "pass" category. But, it looks like something I would like to see based on the trailer.

Personally, I've never been a huge hater of Tatum. Yes, GI Joe sucked SO hard, but I think his casting was the least of the issues that movie had to deal with. When the script is garbage, when everything that director made previously sucked horribly, and when the creators don't seem to understand or care anything about why people liked GI Joe in the first place, then you've got a steep hill to climb as an actor in the starring role.
