thanks Pete, for the snow I used Woodland Scenics mixed with PVA glue and water. If you add the snow to the face and body with a paint brush and then put some water on the paint brush and apply it to the snow it looks like the snow is melting. Leave it to dry for a few days and it goes all solid and sticks.

As well you can spray the figure with matt varnish and blow some snow onto the figure giving an even spread of small snow flakes.

I will definitely be copying you as this is the best snow i have seen.
I find a lot of people use spray on snow but am not shore about the longevity and if it will damage the paint/clothes. Plus this looks better :lol
