The Venture Brothers.... Why have I not been watching this show?

I just wanted to come on here and officially thank The Ill Jedi, Galactiboy and a few others who got me intrigued about this show. I had not even given it a thought, been putting it off for 2 seasons.... Well I finally cracked a few weeks ago and bought the first season on DVD.

Dude, this show had me floored. I was sold as soon as the opening scene began... Brock in Mexico at the poker table....

I burned through the first season in a week and immediately ran out to buy the second season. And to my astonishment... it only got better from there. Seriously, I can't believe how good it is. The characters and situations are inspired and hilarious, it's just cool to watch them fail over and over again but somehow end up ok...

Still....thanks to you that mentioned this to me!!! Can't wait for Season 3, whenever the Hell that's gonna be.

Best show in a long time! It's funny on SO many levels, and can connect with nerds of ALL AGES! I mean they jump around so much, very "fan-boy" based too. It's clever without being pretentious that's what I like best. Also, I've begun talking more and more like Hank around the house.

Hell Yeah Josh, glad you liked it!! I love this show, I am always watching it on my iPod on the way to work and on my lunch. Brock is a BAD ASS and is easily my favorite character, followed by Dr. Orpheus who is funny as hell!!

How sick would some Venture Bros. figures be!? I'd love to have a whole set, even Dr. Girlfriend and Molly ****tease!!

Damn, I just realized that Season 2 came out on April 17th, I need to pick it up on DVD!! Right now I only have it on my iPod.

Season 2 is just as good as 1, the writing on this show is awesome, I just can't say enough good things about the Venture Bros. I can't wait for Season 3, it's gonna rock!!!

I've just recently been catching episodes on Adult Swim for the first time too and I'm hooked. Great show!
Adult Swim has a nice variety of refreshing TV shows. I also just recently started watching ATHF for the first time and it's brilliant. It's strange how the first episode I saw didn't do anything for me.

I love Adult Swim, they have awesome shows in their lineup: The Venture Bros., Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Robot Chicken, Metalocalypse, Frisky Dingo, Futurama and Family Guy just to name a few!!

I wish Adult Swim had it's own channel that brodcasted all day, that would rule!!

Yeah, same here!! What keeps me from watching all the great shows is how late it comes on.... I have to work early in the morning and can't stay up that late. Would love to be able to turn it on anytime...

I think Adult Swim is on and off. Like, with the exception of a few shows, they seem to try to be getting this pretentious sense of humor going I don't like. But Aqua Teens (usually, there's a few stinkers), Space Ghost (where'd that go it ruled!) Metalocalypse, Ventrues for sure. Robot Chicken is good, problem is that a lot of the in house shows suffer because we're getting the same writers doing them, and there's only so much a group of 3-4 guys can do. But Venture Bros. are done by a dif. crew, so it seems to not suffer at all.

Besides the network shows like Futurama, Family Guy and Home Movies, Venture Brothers is the best show on Adult Swim.

I actually avoided this show for awhile, I felt like it was just gonna be stupid... man was I wrong! Seriously one of the most kickass shows on TV, can't wait for season 3

Yeah, it is one of the bright spots on Adult Swim. Most of the "home grown" shows they do just seem plain stupid to me and not at all funny, but every once in a while they get it right! I mainly watch Adult Swim for the Anime, Futurama and Family Guy... and The Boondocks! That rocks as well!
