Good news. I'll wait until they release it as a collection though. From the teaser image it looks like this could continue the story from the first? I was expecting a whole new cast of characters.

By fluke, I just bought Season 1 Walking Dead from Steam (75% off - $6.25, expires Nov 1) when I came upon this thread. Have heard a ton of good things about it but have been putting off buying the game. Anyone that's played everything so far, would you recommend the DLC 400 Days? Really looking forward to checking this out tomorrow.

Did you play the 400 days dlc? I believe it will be all new characters with the exception of Clementine and maybe Kenny depending on the reveal of what happened to him.

Yes, you'll want to play the dlc after you finish the main game. It's part of the story and quite good.

I can't wait for this. I loved Season 1. The only downside was I bought the episodes as they came out every month or so. That sucked when you played a new episode because I sometimes did not remember the decisions I made the previous episode. It is definitely better to play them all when you have them all. I will probably buy the season pass to save money though.

The 400 Days DLC is great. It contains five or six short stories and the way they designed it is pretty ingenious.

Having said that, you don't get the same emotional investment as you do with the five episodes of Season 1 which follow the same cast of characters.

I never bothered with it because I picked up the game on disc. I was ready for a new cast of characters, but I also really want to see a happy ending for Clementine.
