Before that Daryl/Walker shield reveal I knew fan girls everywhere were freaking out when it cut away from Daryl being shot at/Walker bait right when that walker is about to bite at him.

I knew as soon as the show played that card of cutting away from "Daryl in Danger!" we'd of course get something like the above sequence.

Actually, it's no different than a lot of Westerns where someone hides behind a wooden fence or something made of thin wood and the bullets never go through.

lol, thats great....you can smash their heads in with a spoon, rips off limbs, but yet the zombie is stopping ak-47 rounds from going through and hitting daryl... still it worked for the scene...

I read a post written by some guy who explained velocity, round size, trajectory, etc, etc, blah, blah, blah and basically said it was possible to use a zombie (body) as a shield w/o penetration.
I laughed but the guy sounded like he knew what he was talking about. :

Here is something that bothered me that no one has mentioned. When the shooting starts Rick dives behind the overturned bus. There is nothing else around him. Then the tank rolls by and like 5 people and not one of them bothers to look and see if Rick is dead? The Governor pauses at the bus, but it's only to use the group as a shield. Then he also begins to walk past the bus without looking for Rick and gets blindsided. I realize these people were inexperienced in combat training but NO ONE thought to make sure the guy behind the bus was dead?

i thought of it when it happened but totally forgot about it till now. the more a person thinks about it the more this show is riddled with holes. Darryl must of used the script as a shield also cause of the amount of holes in it.
