I don't think she was harsh. I think she was wrong. She acted out of panic, short-sightedness and insufficient evidence. A smart leader doesn't. (A crazy 10 year old girl might.)

Hershel's approach had nothing to do with some bumbling caricature. He was the only functioning caregiver and he did it on one, elderly leg. He was going from one crisis to the next. Even then he only presided over one more death than Carol. Everyone else lived.

Who's incompetence would have killed them all? The bumbling healer? Or the anxiety driven executioner?

Carol only "killed" two infected who would've died anyway (remember, Hershall hadn't thought of a remedy yet). Hershall's method got 3 people killed even after developing a remedy, because he didn't lock the cells until the dying doctor bullied him into it. You tell me.

He must be low on money for something since it took him this long to sue. Hope he wins and gets a dollar.

Nah, I hope he loses but AMC still gives him a dollar :lol

I mean I appreciate him getting the series up and off the ground and all, but from what we've heard what he wanted to start doing makes me glad they booted him out. I mean watching 2 Governor-only episodes is FAR better than full episodes of random zombie stories.

Good for him. I hope he wins and I hope he writes that book about his ordeal with AMC like he said he might.

I Would love to read what actually happen from his side.

I really hope he wins.

Why in the world would anyone want to buy a book about THAT?

He already has said what has happened from his side, if you choose to believe me.

If AMC loses a bunch of money they'll make cuts somewhere to make up the loss. You want that to happen just because you're a fan of his?

:lol he said he wanted to write a book about what happened. so yeah i would love to read that.

As for AMC losing money...that's bs. IS not even about "being his fan" They wouldn't be losing money if it is paying him what they were supposed to.
Seems like they screwed him over, So making them pay him is a bad thing?
They were being tricky and they didn't play fair. Why does AMC gets a pass just because they make a show that is popular.

ACM is one of the worst companies Ive ever heard of. The show might be great and the actors might be great, But AMC sure isn't. :dunno

it couldn't hurt the show as it's .... Not saying. lol

Maybe they did pay him what they agreed on. They have lawyers too.

You're taking his word for it as if it were fact. I'm not going to do that because I have no idea what was in his contract(s).

I find it interesting that you won't read The Hobbit, but you'll read a whole book about a guy who may've gotten screwed over by a company. At least the book should be a short read.

"I came up with a show. The show did great, then I wanted to change it too much and ruin it so I was let go, and I sued and won (or didn't win) a ton of money". The End.

:lol

I honestly dont get why walking dead fans hate this guy so much. Its not like AMC has been really horrible from the very beginning or anything.... Everyone loves to forget how no one cared about making this show until he pushed and he pushed. None of the other networks cared. It is not only that he came up with the show, but the faith he had in the project. AMC only sees dollar signs, they couldn't give a hoot about the show itself. He saw a chance at making a great show.

And everyone Always complains about the plans he had for back stories for walkers, But I really doubt he was going to give 13 episodes to backstories of walkers. I really doubt the show would only be all about the walkers lives as humans and completely forget about Rick and the group. He wrote the first six episodes. But everyone loves to hate him for wanting to do some backstories. I really doubt he was going to make season 2 all about the walkers and not have Rick in there at all...

As far as believing him, There is a precedent. He is a great director and he works well with others. People that work with him love him.
AMC keeps hurting the show over and over. They keep doing cuts and messing with it. So yeah, Im going to believe the network that only cares about money, lol.

As for reading the Hobbit, why bother? we are getting 3 movies :nana:

I don't know. I might have said it somewhere else. Or to myself. Or just thought it.

Yup. Darabont needs to get a ****ing life, move on and stop crying about the milk he spilled himself.

But Didn't he drop the whole "Back stories to walkers" thing?

He wanted to do that and they said No Way, and he was supposed to do the 13 episodes their way and didn't they fire him anyways????

I thought he stopped talking about his idea for the fall of Atlanta and he was just supposed to do the stuff in the farm before they just fired him altogether...
