Looks like Sideshow forgot to include their Highlander line when compiling their beautiful coffee table catalog tome. Maybe my pages are stuck together... I've looked through it a number of times... and I see no Highlander photos. Spinal Tap, Get Smart, Hogan's Heroes, Army of Darkness, sure... all of their smaller lines are represented. Outer Limits and Twilight Zone are there as well. Heck, even Van Helsing has pictures.

But no Highlanders. It's like the line NEVER existed. Maybe it was all a dream. :monkey2 :monkey2 :monkey2

Maybe they inculded the line in the high end version of the catalog. :monkey3 :monkey3 :monkey3

I don't have one yet. Did they include PotA and Uni Monsters?

Yes. They were included.

It is best for Sideshow to move one and leave Highlander forgotten in the past. It was Sideshow's biggest failure in every way imaginable.

Nay. This is a sign of our viktory. Sideshow was found unworthy to hold the license.

Remember, it was the OWNERS who asked Sideshow to pull the Highlander page. Even the folks who brought us the crap filled sequels new that Sideshow badly botched the line... and as has been brought up before: the lines was doomed from the begining since the owners couldn't secure Sean Connery's likeness.

It was doomed to fail from the beginning. Clearly the prospect of a Medieval Kurgan was just too awesome.

Clearly they agree with you. The site page has been removed.

JOKING! But this calendar is just one more slap in the face to the Kurgan Nation. Are you just going to sit here and take it?

I plan on making my own by removing October and replacing it with Oktoberkurganuary.

If these calendar are anything like past catalogs, we should all probably end up with about a dozen of them.

Who said anything about the calendar? I'm talking about the big reference type catalog... the one cost $10 and that is suppose to be an overview of EVERYTHING they have done thus far.

And if this expansive book doesn't mention the Highlander line, surely the 12 pic wall calendar wouldn't. :monkey3 :monkey3 :monkey3

Oh, misread it. That's even worse.

Maybe the value will increase though, now that there's no record of it's existence. A failed line left behind, all mention vanished, all responsibility denied.

Sideshow has employed a revisionist view of their past. But like I said, this was at the request of the license holders. I am quite sure of that.

I talked to Sideshow about this yesterday, it appears that every
time they attempted to print the Kurgan page for the catalog the weak ass printer would shut down. Which ultimately led to the delay of the catalog and the removal of the Highlander line from the catalog.

Once again the Kurgans awesomness has led to its own downfall.

The masses are simply to weak to handle the kickassuary of the Kurgan, as was the catalog.

The Kurgan doesn't want to be in the same calendar as the rest of the sissys. Period.

ps...Sideshow is making a calendar just for Highlander. Period.

For any newbies here that don't know what they look like. Behold what started out as an awesome line:

And of course the infamous one....

Sideshow found itself unworthy to produce the Medieval F'n Kurgan and made a wise decision to back out before having their minds destroyed by the enormity of the task.

Kan't fault them for that...

The Kurgan is immortal. He cannot be confined to the boundaries of time that a calendar conveys. His total awesomeness cannot be captured in print or pictorial. He deffo cannot be catalogued. The fact that he is missing from such a catalogue speaks volumes. His departure from the Earth has left a chasm. That chasm should have been depicted, by Sideshow including some blank pages in the midst of their catalogue. Or even have those pages headed by a banner thus.......

If that be the case, I sure hope that no one else picks up the licenses for PoTA or LOTR or any other licenses that Sideshow has done. Imagine that someone picks up all the old SS product licenses. Suddenly catalog 11 would be only 2 pages.
I can't relate to a company not showing what they've made. Imagine if when Playing Mantis aquired the rights to Captain Action that they demanded all photos of the original Ideal versions be erased from the archives.
