So what else is new. Peep expect others to accept what they perceive as normal before all this happens. This is still human nature. Peep expect Mr. Green to be a certain way when it's not related to the work place and is none of their business.

Job security and public face and privacy has been an issue now with the raise of social media though. If people don't want the response then don't post and have facebook, twitter, etc. This is especially for celebrities. But this a separate issue. Still, regular people can post and the hell with it. Much to do about nothing.

Mr. Green don't have any social media beside this forum. But still, the work place is not home for sure.

Read from the link above? What's so hard or scary about it? If you assume wrong then ask him/her/it and the person is androgynous and the person name is squirrel girl, then so be it. Why be negative? Why be afraid? There is no reason to get fined unless you repeatedly denying people's identity. Communication is the key. Communication is key in the work place, public, social media, etc.

But of course, obviously, you can't have squirrel girl on an application or any legal type of form. Unless the person have a valid id saying so. You never know with people's name now a days with Brooklyn, Apple, etc.

no, these kind of things have happened already. In some parts of Europe like in England you can go to jail for "Hate speech" but the hate speech but their definition of hate speech is kind of extreme

As I've said, I don't care if someone wants to pretend they're an imaginary gender. That is not the problem.

Nor is the problem people saying means things (merely perceived as such, or genuine). The problem is people being prosecuted/persecuted for speaking.
