Plenty of small flashlight that uses batteries, mate. But you probably want the survival/tactical technology.

Ohh, expensive for a flashy.

Nah, I just wanted a good flashlight to use AAA (I prefer AA and AAA batteries instead of D, C or various others like 18650 etc.) an to be right angle/L shaped, thus to fit in my shirt pocket. I'm not into expensive flashlights, and I already own 3 other Mankers which are very good. But this time I might go with Maratac instead.

Yup. Problem here is that our radical Left doesn't have enough genuine extremists to oppose, so they swing with a wide bat.

More video has turned up from Portland, OR. Old man getting beat with a crowbar while being maced.

There's this service in Oz and the US and probably a bunch of other places where you can pay fifty bucks to spend 20 minutes smashing up a room full of stuff with a baseball bat.

Brothels might offer a similarly cathartic release of the pent-up frustration and stress born from their adequacy-deficit disorder.

Is that something you are witnessing or something you are being made to do?

I only saw it for the first time a few weeks ago. The chick’s name was ‘Ashley’, so I figured maybe it was just so people would be clear she wasn’t a dude. Bit ****ing weird but whatevs. Then last week I saw it on some other chick’s signature and her name was Meghan. Then it clicked it was some inclusivity measure. My workplace hasn’t mandated it, but I **** you not, some people have a rainbow strip in their signatures, a pronoun declaration and an acknowledgement of the First Nations and how we’re on their land.

Your name, your job title, your address, your phone number. That’s all people need to know or care about. I feel like adding my own value statements to my signature. “If you’ve got a Koch then you’re a dude” .... “I can’t go past an Asian chick with a boy’s ***”... “bring back afternoon whisky to academia”

Sounds like the footage that recently did the rounds on youtube of a Democratic Socialist convention where every time someone was speaking they had to start by saying something like 'point of personal privilege' and introduce themselves with full name, where they're from and their pronouns. And even if that person had already spoken previously they had to repeat it all. When they finally could get to their point it would just be complaining about noise levels because they are prone to 'sensory overload' or someone having a fit because the previous speaker had opened by addressing the crowd as 'guys' or someone clapped instead of using jazz hands. Just absolute nonsense. It was like a Monty Python sketch. They watched Demolition Man and said ''that's the society I wanna live in'' while the rest of us were on Denis Leary's side - his character would be a far right populist now by the reckoning of such people.

Confusing times.

and I can't get around town because every freak on earth needs a popeyes chicken sandwich now apparently. lines of cars into the street blocking traffic...for a fried piece of garbage. ppl are disgusting. social media runs our lives. and ppl are worried about the government telling us how to live? social media has turned ppl into manchurian candidates for a chicken sandwich.

I saw that. That was ****ing hilarious. :lol

PC and identity politics is cannibalistic by nature, because you eventually get people on the same “side” turning on each other in a race to the bottom of trying to “out woke” one another by showing how attuned and sensitive they are to the issues.

Going down this current road, we’re eventually going to end up with a tower of utter babble where nobody understands each other, because words are now subjective and mean whatever one wants them to mean. That’s the reason why words have objective meanings and definitions, so that way we can effectively communicate. If I ask someone for an apple and they bring me a block of wood because to them, a block of wood now means apple, then we have a breakdown in communication.

Aka: other fallible people. :lol

Just received the R2-D2 garden ornament from a UK ebay seller, sent through Global Shipping Program GSP, and the contents in the box are completely broken. The droid is smashed to bits and pieces, as the seller or GSP didn't use the proper packing materials. The box itself is flimsy as hell, and they only used a thin sheet of bubble wrap, too small for the box, so R2 danced in the box all the way to me, without any other protection. They could have added those cheap plastic peanuts, more bubble wrap, or even crumpled newspapers. These ceramic/resin ornaments seem to be very thin and fragile on their own, why would you ship them like a wood stump without proper packaging?

Cancer is like you are fighting a game that you do not have an idea if you are going to win or not. But unlike with sudden death like what happened with Kobe, you will at least have a chance to survive or maybe have some few moments to spend the remaining days of your life.

Not that cancer is in any way to be envied but yeah I'd rather go that way than to die suddenly and prematurely in a plane crash or to be murdered or something.

I would much rather go out in a flash thinking about what’s for dinner than spend months in physical pain and mental terror while my family watches.

Cancer's a c**t no doubt, but there's the flipside that it gives a family the chance to say things, tidy up their affairs etc.

Yeah, I was thinking of it from a mostly selfish pov I suppose. But I think that’s somewhat allowable if I’m considering my own demise.

I’ve seen someone go from diagnosis to death in a year and I suppose there is value in awareness and practical matters but it’s just so unforgivably taxing on everyone and still the actual tragedy defies expectations.

:dunno

Also, I hate fabricated Palpatines.
