Bought my first detolf yesterday, and as I was standing in aisle 20, in front of bin #8 or whatever, I said to my wife: "I wonder how many Sideshow Freaks have stood in this exact spot." :hi5:

Those Detolfs are heavy, i had to Conan two of them into the back seat of my car on a angle, wasn't fun.

Last night was overcast, and the clouds breaking up over Portland Harbor as the sun came up were awesome. Love sunrise on the ocean.

Leaves have started turning too.

The feeling you get after completing a nice run. Especially after feeling like you are going to dread it before you start.

I know this feeling. When I was running, I frakking HATED every second from loosening up until walking it off.

But DAMN I loved how I felt for an hour or so after that.

This reminds me of how much I love a good storm!

There was a great storm this afternoon. It was cloudy all morning. Then 1:00 hit and a massive lightning flash let loose, immediately followed by a massive crack of thunder, and it poured like South East Asia for 15 minutes.

The sun came out after that. There wasn't any water left in the sky.

I always sleep with white noise (a fan).

But I love it when it rains when I sleep in a tent. :)

I had a girl pull me into a hammock and get all cuddly one night. It was at her family's camp on a lake, and one of the trees it was tied to stood right on the edge of the banking.

The second my hand touched bare skin, she remembered her boyfriend and jerked away, spinning the hammock and dumping me five feet onto the beach below. Scraped my back on one of the roots from the tree, and the dirt from the root left a tattoo that lasted a year and a half.

I f#%$ing love women. :gah:

So I take it she didn't give you any comfort lovin'? :slap

About Storms - I am seriously considering installing a tin awning outside my bedroom window just to enjoy the sound of rain hitting it.

About hammock sex - I don't care if it is in a hammock, on the beach, in a bed, on the kitchen table, in the shower, or anywhere else...

as long as it happens at least three times a day...I will be good with it.:)
