Well, saw this last night. What to say...

It's a stupid movie that has lots of charm. Like, there's really cool moments and you're mostly absolutely invested throughout but there's also moments where you just kinda stop and come to accept that this is a stupid movie so you should quite literally stop hoping that something meaningful will make an appearance.

It def works as a comedy and Hemsworth is pretty funny. I'd say 80% of the gags work.

Blanchett is great, just wish she had material that was more serious.

Overall the best of the Thor franchise which isn't saying much. Stylistically a dramatic improvement over the previous two and you can see the film's flavor definitely draws from Flash Gordon & the GOTG franchise.

Entertaining, charming, stupid.

Best review so far lol

So this is what the world wants with superhero movies? To have a tone like Thor: Ragnarok? Can people really imagine a Batman V Superman movie in this tone? I understand mainstream audiences (non-comic book fans) really don't take superhero movies seriously. To them, it's all silly so they hope for a superhero movie that has a director that also doesn't take the characters seriously like them.

Like I said, this movie is literally a Jack Kirby issue of Thor come to life

He's fun...but very goofy. There's almost no "tragic/tormented" Hulk here. I think there's maybe one moment that touches on it, but it's undercut quickly by the movies humor.

His action is great though. They know how to use him and where.

and there's that scene where they hint that the Banner and Hulk personalities kinda have merged

Every time Korg was on the screen, all I could think was the MCU getting the Fantastic Four.

Did this thread just went from, worst movie ever to, let's do it with Hela?
The internet works in mysterious ways. :lol

Cate was really hot in the role, that's for sure. :lecture
Tho I wish her character was more of a charming dominatrix and less of a "I'LL KILL YOU ALL" type.

Entertaining, charming, stupid.

Holy Jesus... This movie broke Sniktster!

I have to agree, Snikt wrapped up my thoughts nicely.....

Tho I find Pratt to have better timing and delivery of the humor Hemsworth did just fine. The cool moments were cool...dumb moments just dumb....

HOW IN TF DOES THE MOVIE TIE IN TO INFINITY WAR. BP is the only missing gap here.
