Wow, didn't realize they were in the movie! I didn't know that was them until I just looked it up.

And Hemsworth's brother Liam... ;)

I must admit to not recognising him, but spotted the others right away and LOL'd (in my cinema of about ten I was the only one who did), but I did figure it must have been a hat-trick and had to check online to find out who the third was..

Just got back from it, eeh.

Don't care enough to rate it, nor rank it, MCUs are all the same, save for one or 2, doesn't matter what spot give them.

I really liked the action, best superpowered action in the MCU, terrible humor, CGI, and cinematography. Actors barely tried to stay in character.

Hela was hot as ****, and nicas only catching up to that :lol random Valkyrie chick that isn't the real Valkyrie because real Valkyrie dies on-screen was occasionally hot.

Whoever said this was Kirby-esque. No. Some visual cues at Sakaar, but that's about it. Incidentally, only good visual was Hela coming out of the Bifrost.

90 something at RT huh? Way to make numbers meaningless.

And I had no expectations, I was hyped, I was fully open to this. Yikes.

So, here’s a question...

If the Cosmic Cube is still on Asgard, and Asgard is now mountain-sized Surtur’s domain, will we get to see Thanos kick Surtur’s ass in Infinity War?

It appeared heavily implied to me

Loki took it... The big question for me is, what's going on with the reveal of the last stone, with Infinity so close?

Loki has the Tesseract in the IW leaked trailer. Also, good point. The Soul Stone was nowhere to be found.

Both you and RIDDICK are WB Saboteurs doing damage control for BR:2k49!

Settle down its not epic its a good movie. A mid tier Marvel movie no where near the quality of GOTG, Iron man, WS etc.

Taika Waititi's hit _F I L M...

Blade Runner was chockfull of toxic masculinity anyway. Based Ragnarok being F U N & E P I C AND S M A R T saved the Fall Season though.

Kind of surprised by all the negativity the film is gathering online. I've always liked comic Thor but, honestly, I think film Thor is superior. I think the character works better as(let's face it, this is what he is) a comedic, goofy take on He-man. And while we've gotten that to some degree in every solo and Avengers flick, they doubled down on it here and I think it works. It is the only franchise, my wife and I have made a point to watch together in theatres with every outing and I knew we were gonna like it, not even 5 minutes in as in an full theatre, we were(initially) the only ones giggling our ***** off as
Thor was spinning around slowly and talking with Surtur
.

It's not perfect. I never felt like anything "bad" was really going to happen and although Blanchett is sort of playing a variation on Michelle Pfieffer's Catwoman and is quite good at it, anytime she was onscreen, the movie turns into a giant action cartoon. Odin's storyline is kind of a waste and lacks any impact.

But everything else? WONDERFUL. Hemsworth is great. The fight between Thor and Hulk in the arena is much longer and cooler than what I'd been lead to thought. The action in general is wonderful with both the opening scene and the final battle being the best uses of Thor in action in ANY of these Marvel films(loved the use of the Immigrant song). I thought the film had just enough of a balance between Banner and Hulk and Ruffalo was great. I don't know why people aren't losing it online over Tessa Thompson's Valkyrie. I loved her and was kind of smitten with her by the time the film was over. I even turned into my wife at one point to gush at how sexy she was(probably shouldn't have done that lol but oh well. Wife doesn't hold that against me long). Karl Urban had a great arc as Skurge and I wish we could see more of him one day. "Tex-as" lol. I liked Dr. Strange's use, short and and stunty as it was, it was cool and my theatre went crazy when he showed up. I love where they're going with Hulk but it's a shame we can't have an solo Hulk film to focus more on it. As is, it's a great subplot that doesn't get enough attention and I'm not convinced it ever truly will. I really really liked it and thought only Guardians 2 was a superior film in all the comic book movie releases this year. It's about on par for me with Wonder Woman which is slightly better only because the stakes feel more real there.

Is sarcasm really that tough to detect through the internet? I mean, don't the GIANT CAAAAAAAPS give it away?

Woops i just got back from a Stargate all day convention and i waited hours in line for signatures (longest being Richard Dean Anderson). I am very tired. :lol
