Thor: Ragnarok (November 3rd, 2017)

Yeah, I wouldn't know who I'm hearing, but it's very possible I've heard her in one of those places. I know I finally heard Adele not long ago. No Ella Fitzgerald or anything, but she's got a pretty good singing voice IMO.

I count myself among the lucky who've never heard a single Taylor Swift song.

I know who she is because her face is constantly in the media, but have never heard any of her music.

I've probably heard her music and just not known it was her....

This is me as it pertains to Lady Gaga. I don't listen to music on the radio but I can't say for sure I've never heard one of her songs.

But back to the Thor movie...

I don't have a good feeling about it at all. Thor is my favorite comic book character, and while Hulk is in my top 5, the Hulk does not belong in this movie. A Thor movie with Ragnarok in the title needs to have Surtur in it. Skurge needs to be played by someone larger than Karl Urban. I really like Karl Urban but he's not big enough to be the Executioner. I haven't really been following this movie but the bits and pieces I've heard about do not sit well with me.

Kevin Feige gets a lot of things right but the Thor movies isn't one of them.
I would've thought the Capt. America movies would be the most difficult for them to pull off but it's Thor by a country mile.
Such potential wasted.

Bleached eyebrow/beard and short hair Thor rocked it in his 1 min take down of the Destroyer huh?

It had its moments admittedly: The helmet, Thor actually kicking ass against the Ice Giants and that huge monster, his failure to lift the hammer.
He did look better when he appeared in the Avengers but Jane and her wacky earth friends were such a f'n drag.
Man that fight with Kurse pist me off no end.

I liked Thor 1. But it could have been better. Loki / Thor fight was great.

Most of Thor 1 looks like it takes place in that fake town they built in Blazing Saddles. Definitely not my idea of Thor.
