Got some potential major spoilers from the site that also had the supposed DCEU leaks...

The movie will have a serious tone with little moments of humor, like “The Winter Soldier”, which is being used as a template.

Loki is the one that sends Hulk to the gladiator planet where Thor later ends up, Valkyrie is also a warrior in that planet and befriends Thor, but they don’t actually become a couple although there’s a spark between them.

Jane Foster is not referenced at all in the script.

Thor, Hulk and Valkyrie have to find the Soul Gem in order to defeat Loki and Hela, who has helped Loki usurp the throne, but is also planning to destroy the Nine Realms in the Ragnarok.

Loki is eventually betrayed by Hela and helps Thor defeat her, but then betrays him as well and gives the Soul Gem to Thanos, as well as the location of the other Infinity Stones, for his own protection when Thanos launches his offensive on the universe.

Skurge is Hela’s champion, but he follows her under false pretenses, and turns against her when he finds out what her true plans are, holding off her armies alone at the cost of his own life to give Thor a chance.

Surtur and the Fenris Wolf will appear, among others.

Odin has been living as a vagrant on Earth ever since Loki usurped the throne and banished him. He gets his full power back in the final scene to battle the Ragnarok monsters.

Sif, the Warriors Tree and Heimdall are returning. Heimdall dies.

Doctor Strange will have a cameo.

Sounds good, thanks for sharing. Possibly the weakest part of this all is that terrible miscast of Valkyrie and possibly the director, but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

This sounds like it is going to be great!

I like the layer of realism they've added to the costume. Obviously he'd wear different fanny packs depending on the mission.

Yup, can't go wrong Ribic.

That's what I wanted all along. Now if we could have a little helmet.

Ribic is trully one of my faves. Mallev, Ribic, Shalvey, all modern greats IMO. Dragotta as well. But yeah, Thor needs his helmet. Honestly, even if Ragnarok turns out good, I don't think it'll be the perfect Thor movie. I'd love to see something like this on the big screen:

But I'm not holding my breath for it. I get their decision to make everything connected, thus magic and myths are just advanced science, but Thor loses a big part of his charm, at least IMO. Doctor Strange works like that, but Thor and his mythos, not really.

PS: Ribic seems to like drawing dicks though...

That sounds pretty good!! :yess:

@darthkostis

It's not gonna be the perfect Thor movie, not by a long shot, but I'll take it for what it is, plus I just noticed the font of "RAGNAROK" has a cool 90's Super Nintendo game vibe.

Yeah, that'd be a sight, but an adaptation of the God Butcher is too good for the MCU apparently, it would require cinematography unseen so far in the MCU, for starters.

Yeah, Ribic likes his T&A&D, in the same vein as Frazetta, Vallejo and all those guys, they liked a little erotism on the side.

I mean, what pulp fantasy/action oiled up musclebound hero isn't a little gay?

Eh, I guess there's that. As I've said many times, the MCU is never truly bad because it's more or less compromised of modern fairytales, but at the same time, I don't think it can ever be truly great. You ask me, I'd rather we went back to the Pre-Shared Universe days.

Even if it's not the God Butcher story, I'd just like a movie like Thor to have a different look. I don't want it to feel "clean" and like a made-for-tv movie. It should have a certain flair. Same goes for something like Silver Surfer. I'd kill to see this on the big screen:

Personally I like the fact that he doesn't draw as 3-meter rockets ready to fly off. I stumbled upon his Thor/Loki/Lady Loki paintings on a Ribic Tumblr blog, and they were classy, despite the fact that they were wearing their birthday suits.

Rule 34 is better when done by pros.

Sad if true. No Enchantress, another cool character played by a cool actor dies for the sake of cheap drama, too much characters for a solo instalment, etc.

Anything Enchantress can do is pretty much covered by Hela at this point. Executioner working for the Godess of Death makes more sense than being just a lovestricken fool who works for the Enchantress, whose main motivation is to bone Thor.

As for Executioner's fate, well, that's his most memorable scene from the comics. It's practically the only instance of him being more than a simple background character and doing something important. It's quite iconic as far as the Thor mythos goes.

So, yeah, I don't see the problem with these two. Now, Valkyrie, Planet Hulk, absent BRB and the others, yes, they are worrying. But these two instances up there sound good IMO.
