Well, if your a gladiator battling in an arena, only a fool wouldn't wear a helmet. So it would be pretty dumb for Thor not to wear one, but that hasn't stopped Marvel from doing other dumb things, so..... :dunno ... Not too crazy about his outfit though... From set pics I still prefer the Dark World, even though this looks a little closer to his comic look. I hope Loki & Thor both do wear helmets. and I hope a Hot Toys Raganarok Hulk will have his armor removable. I've yet to buy a Hulk and I have high hopes for this one. Would be nice to have 2 display options. But I'm sure they're more likely to do a deluxe armor version and a regular version.

Rumored details:

The movie will have a serious tone with little moments of humor, like “The Winter Soldier”, which is being used as a template.

Loki is the one that sends Hulk to the gladiator planet where Thor later ends up, Valkyrie is also a warrior in that planet and befriends Thor, but they don’t actually become a couple although there’s a spark between them.

Jane Foster is not referenced at all in the script.

Thor, Hulk and Valkyrie have to find the Soul Gem in order to defeat Loki and Hela, who has helped Loki usurp the throne, but is also planning to destroy the Nine Realms in the Ragnarok.

Loki is eventually betrayed by Hela and helps Thor defeat her, but then betrays him as well and gives the Soul Gem to Thanos, as well as the location of the other Infinity Stones, for his own protection when Thanos launches his offensive on the universe.

Skurge is Hela’s champion, but he follows her under false pretenses, and turns against her when he finds out what her true plans are, holding off her armies alone at the cost of his own life to give Thor a chance.

Surtur and the Fenris Wolf will appear, among others.

Odin has been living as a vagrant on Earth ever since Loki usurped the throne and banished him. He gets his full power back in the final scene to battle the Ragnarok monsters.

Sif, the Warriors Tree and Heimdall are returning. Heimdall dies.

Doctor Strange cameo.

:lol :lol

That what I was going to say, most of the MCU movies are pretty much dealing with that and they're all comedies.

I think more humor would be a better choice for Thor. He's good at humor and makes his character less dull.
MCU Thor? Yeah, regular Thor doesn't need humor.

There should be little to none humor in a movie about the end of the world.

Oh...right. I forgot this is only the fourth time he's dealing with the end of the world.
Yup, second time someone's after the 9 realms.

I'll be disappointed if this film is very serious. The new retro logo, the Thor vacation VHS short. and the Dr. Strange post credit scene suggested something in the vein of the Masters of the Universe cartoon from the 80's.

I don't think it will be, remember the first rumors that said humor would be increased? This sounds like a planned leak and a bit of record correction.

No guys, we're gonna be serious, we promise.

Same thing happened with RO, everybody denied the humor re-shoots and it's pretty obvious they took place.

Yeah RO was such a load of laughs lol

Not much hope for this I think.
Surtur being shoe horned into one movie with nothing more than "guest star" status with an already crowded cast tells me all I need to know.
Grab yer ankles again Thor, Marvel just doesn't know how to handle you.
