I don't know about this becoming a sleeper hit although one can never really predict. I mean what if they released an exclusive version of this piece in the future? It could happen.

Like other members have already said, there is just too much stuff shipping right now.

Also, the fact that there isn't an exclusive is a major mistake by Sideshow. Without an exclusive this piece will be easy to obtain later and much cheaper from a retailer.

I agree.. this peice will be one of the greats.. but it was way too expensive for me and from the timing of this.. I'm very glad I cancelled! I can't wait to live vicariously through those who kept it!

Dave, that Blade is amazing. There are much more inferior SideShow products you probably have on your list compared to that piece. hehe

Although, most of SideShow's stuff are hits.

Blade is probably the best of all the Marvel Vs. - but I've had to narrow down my focus and I'm just not that emotionally invested in the Marvel characters as in other categories. I'll still get the Marvel PFs, but everything else Marvel has to be eliminated. Not even Bill Gates has enough room to display all this crap.

It's "collectibles", not crap. We don't spend hundreds of dollars on crap. It's too depressing to put it that way.

I know what you mean though, and trust me I have used that word to express my collection, as it has overwhelmed me at moments. Then I realized how I can control it. Sell what I don't love and keep the more important pieces to me... man, and upgrading to SideShow's high end stuff, and getting into the Hot Toys, and Medicom 1/6 figures has really turned my collection around. Of course, I am getting that much closer to a homeless life...ahhh well, can't bring money with you when you die. hehe

But yes, I need to tone it down a notch or two as well. I have already said to myself, that I am going to slow down big-time for 2008. I purchased close to 10 PFs in 2007 alone. That doesn't include other statues and figures I have purchased along the way. This year, I'll limit myself to a 2 or 3 PFs, and maybe a dio...and a couple 1/6'ers. Yes, I can do it. Must fight the urge to click on the order button everytime something cool is released, which is more often than not of late.

Why must companies continuously raise the bar? Stop feeding the addiction dammit!
