Hi guys I have pre-ordered the twilight witch-king statue from sideshow, my question is when fed-ex delivers to the U.K do they charge you any customs fee's at the door or bill you later?
It is my first time ordering direct from Sideshow, also what are the fee's like??

Cheers:peace

Usually you get a bill later. The cost varies as it includes the vat (import duty). It sucks but some things are worth it I guess :dunno

I bought an alien statue direct from sideshow last month which cost $249.99. I thought I got away with paying any charges until around two weeks later I had a bill for no less than £40

Ouch!...know that feeling only too well. :monkey2

But it's all forgotten when the box gets opened. :wink1:

Enjoy your Alien, Fonky :wink1:

Yes depending on the value and size... Its usually around £40 but iv never dealt with fed ex.

I cant quite remember but it was something like 20% of the value of the purchase plus another £10 for FedEx/customs.

I once bought a figure set off an eBay seller from the US. I learned the hard way about import VAT and customs duty. It'll be 20% of whatever you paid (postage included) plus a little more for handling fee etc.
