Ya may joke, but this Joker likeness is better than most others I've seen.
I think that if you messed with the hair, adding gel or whatever to make
it more messed up and "crazy" that this is a pretty darned good figure.

I agree not bad way too much of a boufant hairdo for the clown prince of crime. I think the pose is hurting the picture as well. I'm kinda digging the face sculpt though, reminds me of the 1940's era Joker

An easy pass for me.

However it's nice to see that high end companies are starting to release more Bat related fare for 2008 if nothing else.

Means we should get loads of new announcements next year in time for TDK, can't wait to see what else is coming.

I agree, except for the "real hair" this is a pretty accurate interpretation of the Clown Prince himself.
I like that the smile is not over exaggerated, he looks like the classic Joker of the 40's and 50's.
If DC Direct made a 1/6 Joker that is anywhere near this nice I would be all over it.

Its real hair and while its not the best portrayal out of all the superhero styled figures its the best. Tonner simply combed the hair back. Some hairgel and hairspray will give him the crazy hair that we all know and love. I probably will never get it but its definitely not the worse thing they put out.

How the hell does this company stay in business?

Because people like their products and buy them?

While these specific type of dolls might not be to your taste, there are obviously those out there who do like them. I have their Harry Potter dolls and I'm quite satisfied with them. Just because they're different than what SSC or Hot Toys (etc) puts out, doesn't make them of any lesser quality - it simply makes them different.

Sure, Tonner has many products I'm not interested in/don't think too highly of.....but so does Sideshow and every other company out there.
