Triad Toys Lola Top - Any alternatives?

This is a figure I've been toying with making for the past year now and I just decided to go through with it last night by ordering the body and having a member here help me mod the head.

That's Mercy Thompson from the "Mercy Thompson Series" by Patricia Briggs. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mercy_Thompson

The only thing I've seen that moderately resembles Mercy's outfit is the top on Triad Toys' Lola. Does anyone have any other suggestions of what to use or maybe have something they're willing to part with to donate to a good cause? Who wouldn't wanna help a Freak out make a dream figure come to fruition?

I have a really hard time finding parts for female figures, even on ebay.

I've been trying to make Lisa from Weird Science and theres like nothing to help me.

Ugh, I know. I knew this snag going in. The bigger problem for me was really the hair/eye color but I've got that taken care of. The rest of the clothing shouldn't be too difficult.

Good luck with THAT outfit, by the way. Haha.

The best I can think of is to buy a dress shirt and cut the sleeves off. It shouldn't be too difficult to tie the shirt up like the picture.

I'll go the dress shirt route. Just a matter of finding one without pockets and a collar I like. Thanks guys for the idea! I dunno why I didn't think of that.
