Not sure if this has been brought up but I was at a local BORDERS and saw the Terminator Salvation - The art of....book. I'm not sure how many are into the behind the scenes or concept art stuff but I though the book was AWESOME. I'm gonna back today to pick one up because I was short on cash yesterday. I highly recommend it . At lot of cool concepts and details in there. Plenty of T eye candy.

I have the book, really worth the money. I love the Moto-terminator concepts.

This sounds good so far! I was thinking of picking up this book, but I've never saw it in any of my local bookstores. Only in an internetbookstore, but there weren't any preview pages.

So I might pick this up after all

yea thats the book with an entire section on the t-600 and in the terminator factory it disusses the t-700 assembly line which I thought were t-800s but apparently arent..

They are T-800's, McG changed it at the last minute! So Playmates and Hot Toys have been left high and dry with misbranded Terminators. This is a advantage to us collectors as we got a T-800 for £120 instead of £400!

It is a really nice book, it's companion movie guide book is a really good read as well.

I never saw that one, It might be the same one, I'll have to check it out. The only thing I can tell from the description is the one you posted has 8 pages less than the one I was talking about. It looks like this

Well we did, just slightly different paint job! So yea I will keep telling my self that!!!

I aint out to start a fight .. and sure the T-700 looks close enough.. but its not the same thing..and its not a different paint job.. its surface is totally redone..

But thinking this over..I do own the HT T-800 and I hadnt bought the T-700 cuz I keep saying I already got one.....haha.. well crap.. I guess maybe it is the same thing...

so does anyone know why this iron man book seems to be so rare? It's not a new release is it? Btw any othe really good sci-fi type art books to recommend?
