I have received some questions (some people who bought the sets of Darkman) on the body type that is needed for this custom, or how to get on a more approximate to the character's physical appearance, because my English is limited I will try to explain as best I can:

The first thing to consider is the height, an important characteristic is its Darkman's height , Liam Nesson's height is 6 '4 "(193 cm). in 1:6 scale it will be nearly 13 inches (32.1cm) this can be done modifying a TrueType body but I found a better way

this is a body of Mattel, the ones that come with the new figures of 12 inches (GHOSTBUSTERS)

First I removed the neck and manufacture a new one with clay and epoxy resin, remove the joint of the shoulder blades, to complete the back and give an awkward appearance, then add foam and fabric bands at the waist and legs to give more volume. also I added bands to the arms

This is the final result whit head, boots and hands

Some people have asked about the few details that have the pants and how wide it is, in these pictures you can see the look of the 1/6 pants in the body and appearance of the pants in the movie

Cool. Thanks for the tutorial, Beto. Good way to make use of that Mattel body.

Incredible!!! Your an amazing talent both sculpting and painting :rock2

Wow. Bandages look real once painted. I was concerned about them being sculpted on but that looks awesome. Did you ever get my Darkman w/ hat, hands and Ash heads out? Looking forward to it.
