Looks like District 9 has spawned a trend of fake mockumentary style hoaxes. It's so obvious the UFO is CGI.

If you pause it at 9 secs you can see the object appears further away then the actual splash. With a splash that big it would have sent ripples out to the boat but the waves stayed the same. a total fake. Plus the men in black would have destroyed the boat.
