Thanks to Amazon.com, we now have confirmation that Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 is on the way, and will release around November 15th of this year. Amazon also launched a handful of screenshots and a trailer that looks pretty damn epic, and introduces four of the twelve new warriors being added to the game. Hawkeye, Ghost Rider, Firebrand, and Strider Hiryu all join the cast of MvC3!

Check out the new lifebars, and look for small things like ryu’s bouncing beam. Also note that online is being improved, including the addition of spectator mode, and the entire game is being rebalanced! Amazing!

I will be def getting this but this is so gay what happened to the dlc. We were promised this all could have been achived with a patch and they are going to finnaly have spectator mode in the new one

Wait, will all these characters be DLC, or do I have to buy the new ____ing game? If they're making me buy a completely new game, that might just be the biggest middle finger any developer has ever given me.

The game is apparently 39.99 so that breaks it down to just over 3 dollars per character which is a better deal then Capcom was charging for Jill and Shuma first time around.

Precisely. Plus spectator mode new balancing and other stuff. Really, it's not a bad deal.

The only people who are going to have issue with it, are the ones that don't buy ALL of the DLC characters...but who cares about them. :pfft:

For those that bought the first game...

FFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a problem with Capcom in general who remembers the countless full price retail versions of Street Fighter 2 for the Super Nintendo. But it's an even larger problem with Japanese companies this generation, while American companies are embracing DLC over in Japan they really haven't caught on to it yet.

This was my first Capcom game in years, good to know they like to stick it to their fans though. I guess I'll be trading in my copy (if it's still worth anything?) to gamestop and upgrading.
