I don't really want to do all those motion-based gestures and touchscreen inputs to move Nathan around. Hopefully that stuff can be turned off.

I should've read that gameinformer link before I posted above, because it reads that the motion and touch controls can be switched off. Silly me.

My understanding is that its all new. However, the details are being kept under wraps. A port would not be a way to sell an expensive new toy.

The level shown was not from the first two games, however, could just be a demo level

Yeah, Sure it's neat, but meh.

I'm sure they'll start with a few, but once they catch their stride it'll get better.

In any case, I'm on the fence as to whether I'll be getting another PSP. My original PSP is pretty much an expensive paper-weight, and I never used it except to play MGS: Peace Walker and Portable Ops. Innovation is nice, but I'd like to see what other games Sony will have in store for this hand-held. For now... meh. I'm not really interested in current-gen ports like Uncharted. I'm actually more inclined to getting a 3DS right now.

Sony showed a clip of MGS4 running on PSP2 yesterday, so the possibility exists. Would rather have an entirely new MGS though.
