Unmatched Shipping & Billing Address = Order Cancelled

Hi guys

My Exclusive PF Batman got cancelled by Sideshow recently, reason being :
My Shipping & Billing Address unmatched = Violation of policy

They claimed that an email was sent to me which I did not receive, hence; order cancelled

I need some answers which I cant get from the SS customer services via email :

1. Link to the Policy that stated Unmatched Shipping & Billing Addresses = Violation

2. Customer Service replied : In order to get pending orders' addresses updated, I need to perform something else (Step 2) other than just update the system via normal processes (Step 1)


side note : I have 3 pending orders (including the cancelled PF Batman), All the Shipping Address was updated to my latest input (in year 2013)
BUT the Billing Address still shown the previous. Out of these 3, the latest order gets both addresses updated to the latest.

Why such would happened, when I did not perform "Step 2"

3. I (We all does) Pre-Ordered the Exclusive PF Batman in July 2012, waited for about/more than 18 months. Sideshows could not wait longer and only allow me to have 7 days to respond their email about the unmatched addresses violation which I failed to receive.

They couldn't even bother to send me another reminder when I did not respond to the first , really very disappointed!

What about the violation of unmatched addresses?

Not sure what you mean by 'violation'. From my understanding it's to help protect customers from fraudulent activity.

Best thing would be to call or use live chat and have them check that your billing & shipping address now match in the system.
 
I have a different billing address but I just have it held at the ups facility which is only 30 minutes away so it's not a big deal.
 
My billing address is different than my shipping address. I think I included both when I signed up but it's been so long I honestly can't remember. Now my billing address is home and shipping address is work (which is my default setting when I check out from Sideshow) so I know someone will be there to sign for packages. Delivery time to my house is impossible to predict but at work it's like clockwork.
 
This happended to me to with the new Vader figure. Customer service online was bad. When I called I had to lay the law on the service rep. She said that I should blame my hotmail. Please I never got a notice for anything and when I changed my adresse online it is confusing and said that there was nothing else to do.
First they offeredto put me on a wait list. I said no.
After they said there was no more stock, then they offered me to buy one now at full price. I said no.
I gave them two options. 1. but me back on flexpay or give me back the 25 NRD.
She couldnt get manager for the refund (yeah right) but she applied the 25 to the Batman I had on flexpay. I was happy with that. (Got Vader anyways on Ebay at full retial price with free shipping came out cheeper)
