Unused Phoenix/Dark Phoenix "Women of Marvel" Concept Art

THROWBACK THURSDAY! These are some unused designs for Phoenix I did for, what would have been, my 4th statue in the Women of Marvel series of statues from Sideshow collectibles. Done roughly 3 or 4 years ago. There would have been 2 versions that would have been identical except for the head and the color scheme. The second design shows a base variation to bring the Phoenix effect down closer to the base. Enjoy!

I'm upset that this didn't make it to fruition. I would have most likely bought both if the statue came out as beautiful as the art.

Hopefully the upcoming Jean Grey PF doesn't disappoint, and they move forward with Phoenix in the future.

Brooks has since said that he deserves the blame for this not getting produced. He got really busy with his Marvel work and fell out of contact with Sideshow.

Holy hell, been trying to avoid 1/5 line for marvel but this would have been instant buy for me. Shame other then sue storm this line was "meh" to me.

Make this 1/4... Shaddup and take my money NOW! I wouldn't able to decide and would have probably bought both and face a tongue lashing from the room wife.
