This sucks. Not the news I wanted to wake up to.

I try to stay out of politics when it comes to my hobbies - because, dammit, my hobbies are partly there to help me escape from the messes going on in the country - but hearing them talk about their plans in 2024 and reading up on Project 2025 really made me realize how much things were going to go south if implemented.

It hasn’t even been a month yet already. As much as I hate it, I may need to step away from certain hobbies for awhile until things settle down and business returns to normal - IF it ever does.

Self imposed tariffs is crazy. It seems like the USA is doing what we stupidly did in the UK with Brexit.

It may actually be normal. The Elk Grove entries are USPS mirroring the activity reported by 4PX.

If you ignore the Elk Grove lines it's normal 4PX progress. The next stage is "Hand over to airline" and then "Departure from the original airport".

I think there's method to the madness. It seems to be highly vindictive across the board.

At this point, I'll pay the extra to know I'll get the stuff I ordered already.

That said, I really need to think about the future of this hobby for me. Prices are already rising, and will likely go up more as a result of this. If the tariffs go above 10% on top of it, going to be really hard to justify adding new pieces.

No, it's concluded when you dig deeper that Presidents are selected not elected, and that you have the illusion of vote. There are sayings "It's not who votes, but who counts the votes" or "If voting mattered, it would be illegal"
