yeah, I tried ebay but no luck. A local collector is offering both for $1k. Not sure if that is a good price or not.

You could check completed ebay listings ?

The issue I think you're going to have is they are likely to lose some value compared to years past when ARH Studios release their much larger 1/4 scale versions.

I paid about 450 for the conan exclusive last spring. Values on these fluctuate wildly through time and sadly these great pieces seem largely forgotten. I think 1k is too much though. I have seen the conan ex sell for 500-600 before but they are not offered very often. I would day the DD is maybe a 300-500 dollar piece. 1k isn't bad and they look amazing when repainted.

PS: Make sure the conan has the ruby in the dagger hilt. I believe there were several versions of this piece made at various degrees of exclusivity.

thanks for the info guys. I think I am gong to try and negotiate with him a bit but will try and grab both.

I like the ARH versions, but unless they are offered by SS, they will be a pass for me. I just can't risk eating the shipping cost if it arrives damaged.

btw, he is asking $1k Canadian, which is like $800 US these days...
