Maybe I'll check out Venture Bros, it's been recommended to me before. Not feeling the figures though.

I enjoy and like the Venture Bros.

I really do.

However . . .

I feel that license has been mishandled by virtually every licensee.

Those MEGO type figures are not that great.

The 4" action figures appear nice, but don't scream out "AWESOME!" & "BUY ME NOW!"

IIRC . . . the bobble heads are a joke.

Sideshow only produced Brock & Molotov. Where are the rest of the gang?

In looking back . . . this license really deserved the 1:6 treatment done right, but I digress.

I actually like the Mego style figures a lot. At first I felt indifferent about them - neither like nor hate - but over time I've come to like them a lot. Apart from some characters that irritate me (like Phantom Limb and The Monarch...) I'm hoping to pick them all up in time. So far I have five. Two of those - Hank and Dr Venture - I just picked up last week.

Bobbles heads of anything never interested me, so I have no opinion there.

The SS Brock statue looked great (though I didn't buy). I'm guessing though that low sales means no more there. The Brock statue is still available on the SS website. It was reduced on sale at one point. I think the price now is the reduced one but it doesn't say it's on 'sale' anymore or no? Molotov, the second statue, is still there too, on sale. If they're not selling, what sense does it make to do the rest?

Just going by pictures of these 4" figures online, they don't look that nice to me. Maybe I'd feel different seeing them in hand. This kind of scale with that many joints is nothing I've ever understood the appeal of though.

I absolutely agree DFG. The licenses for VB have downright sucked. The statues from sideshow are great but too expensive. I want great 6 inch figures are really, really good 4 inch figures.
I've gotten the 4 inch figs they've released and they are ok but I expected and wanted soooo much more. Brock is very nice and I like how both the boys and Dr. Mrs. the Girlfriend are all in scale with each other but I need better articulation and accessories.

The show is awesome! Unfortunately I don't feel the need to buy any of their figures...probably because I shell my money on Marvel and DC properties hehe.
